Bio and Experience

Professional Experience:

Hello, I’m Bonnie Casamassima, MFA, LEED BD+C. I’m the Founder of Interweave People Place, a Biophilic Design Expert, and a former Research Professor of Interior Design at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

My support focuses on research, education and consulting to nurture people’s joy-driven lives. This collaboration is ultimately driven to connect you and your clients with the healing science of design in your everyday spaces such as your offices, schools, or wellness centers.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design focusing on Environmental Psychology and Biophilic Design from SCAD.

I’m also honored to be a graduate of Jamie Butler's 250+ hour intensive Intuitive mentorship program. In this program I honed my highly sensitive intuitive and empathic skills to support my growth and the growth of those around me.

I’m honored to have spent over a decade in the corporate, architecture and design industry as well as a Research Professor of Design. These experiences have laid the foundation of the research support I’m honored to share with you.

A Bit More for Fun:

I love hearing about people’s jam-what makes them say “heck yes!”, being outside, kayaking and doing pottery on the wheel. I also love live music and a good belly-laugh giggle fit. I spend the majority of my free time with my partner his two incredible kids.
